Our vision is that consumers worldwide benefit from water which is free from microbiological contamination. We establish novel rapid detection methods to become a global leader in water pathogen monitoring and enable safe water for everyone. rqmicro is based in Zürich-Schlieren and has recently launched its first product for the rapid detection of Legionella. Customers are service laboratories, quality control labs in industry and utilities and facility managers.
We are expanding our team with a position in **Business Development Manager (M/F) 100%** to lead strategic market development initiatives and accelerate revenue growth. This is a unique chance to join a growing life sciences startup and generate direct impact in the water testing sector.
**Role**
- Lead and execute partner outreach to develop market segments

International market development beyond DACH region, in particular USA
*
Initiate and develop commercial partnerships to boost revenue in target markets
*
Help develop an effective sales organization for fast growth and build a customer-responsive culture
**Profile**
- Proven track record at operational and managerial level within the life sciences and/or water industry
- Focus on execution with an entrepreneurial spirit
*
Strong communicator with an ability to drive processes forward and achieve results
*
Network to key decision makers within the life sciences and/or water industry is an asset
*
Excellent communication skills in English and German
