We are looking for

You are a financial accountant who is in charge of the production of monthly entries and closing of investments as well as the coordination of the monthly closing of the affiliates (South Africa, Mexico, Singapore, The Netherlands, UK, India and Armenia). You are therefore a key provider of data for the monthly Group consolidation.

Furthermore, the financial accountant acts as specialist for the entire revenue cycle, working closely with the business with respect to the budget, actual and forecast framework (BAF), documents the annual statutory audit as well as bears the responsibility of issuing the invoices and communication thereof with the clients.

About the Job

Accounting

Prepare all entries in the ERP, analysis, documents & reconciliations for the Investment Business (IB) on a monthly basis
Verify cost center and fund codes of accounting entries of the IB and its affiliates
Calculate and book foreign monthly depreciation
Perform and book foreign currency balances revaluation
Prepare transitory accounts reconciliation
Monitor and/or generate invoices, get approval from the Business and send to external clients. Issue and provide aging report to the Group Head of Finance
Prepare and send the quarterly VAT form & BNS statistics for the legal entity in Coordination with the Group Head of Finance
Prepare files & conduct work with auditors for the IB and its affiliates
Supervise the quarterly regulatory reporting when deemed mandatory (The Netherlands, UK)

Closing

Under the guidance of the Group Head of Finance, finalize the monthly closing of the IB and its affiliates

Coordination, Review

Coordinate the monthly closing with the internal accountants of the affiliates (South Africa, Singapore)
Manage the relationship with the external accountants of the affiliates (Mexico, the Netherlands, India, Armenia)
Review Affiliates bookkeeping & closing entries

Treasury, Cash and Financial Risk Management

Validate & publish monthly treasury report of the Business and its affiliates
Manage cash-flows, including four weeks forecast
Manage payables and receivables
Manage IB foreign exchange risk & Liaise with Group Head of Finance
Liaise with partner financial institutions (banks)

Budget

Under the guidance of the Group Head of Controlling, lead and document the annual budgetary process of the legal entity and the Affiliates. Act as a focal point for data collection and monitoring

Actuals, Controlling

Collect monthly financial reporting from the affiliates
Control & explain variations in financial reporting of the affiliates
Provide the Group Head of Controlling with verified, reconciled financial reporting of affiliates through FP&A tool

Forecasting

Under the guidance of the Group Head of Controlling, coordinate the forecast process of the legal entity for volume and overhead. Act as a focal point for data collection and monitoring

Reporting

Under the guidance of the Group Head of Finance, collect, produce, verify and maintain the financial and operational data of the IB and its affiliates of the monthly, respectively quarterly Management Reports

Your Qualification
A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting
Fully qualified such as Brevet Federal or holding an equivalent qualification
In-depth knowledge of local accounting standards and principles: Swiss GAAP, RPC, etc.
Experience with ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV) or equivalent
Experience with reporting tools (Jet Reports or similar) BI software (Tableau / Power BI)
Knowledge of local statutory requirements and tax consequences
Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, establish priorities, and keep deadlines
A team player with a positive working attitude and ‘hands-on’ mentality as well as someone good with clients
