**Your Responsibilities**:
Your mission:
The mission of the Head of UX is to own and drive the UX Design vision for the Beekeeper platform
- Level up the Beekeeper platform with a visual identity and UX voice that not only helps Frontline Heroes get their work done faster and easier (and because they have to use it), but also provides moments of delight that makes them *want* to use it
- Create a powerful Customer Experience (CX) that turns (often) overloaded Frontline Managers into Frontline *Success* Managers, all the way to the C-suite, who can no longer imagine a world without Beekeeper.

Your responsibilities:

- Deeply understand the pains and needs of our users and evangelize this throughout the organization
- Deliver UX strategies that turn insights into concrete impact, embedded with user empathy
- Lead and develop our UX Design team to successfully deliver the full range of UX Design activities
- Drive a powerful and coherent product experience across the clients we have today (web, Android, iOS) and in the future (e.g. smart watches, AR)
- Run and develop processes to drive outstanding and consistent UX at scale
- Work closely with Product peers like Product Management, Growth and Engineering, but also wider e.g. Marketing to influence the strategy and roadmap and drive our message
- Balance between leading the team and doing hands-on work

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for someone with 6+ years of UX Design experience with proven track record of success in:

- Balancing product, development, and user-centered goals to help shape overall product strategy
- Cross-functional work that strategically includes the end-to-end experience, and successful and pragmatic shipping of those experiences
- Researching, ideating, validating and delivering experiences that serve multiple markets/geos with notable distinctions
- Leading regular creative sessions and an environment of learning amongst the team members to guide them through their quest of better user experience
- Working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work
- Analyzing data and driving improvement

You also:

- Enjoy being hands-on while still keeping the bigger picture in mind
- Have 2+ years of experience in managing or leading design teams: hiring, motivating, coaching and assessing employee performance
- Have great communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
- Keep up to date with industry trends, common design systems and usability patterns

- Experience with product led growth
- Experience working closely with (Product) Marketing
- Fluency in written and spoken German
