**About the job**:
Our team’s mission is to power the YouTube ecosystem by keeping it free and engaging for users, responsibly rewarding creators, and connecting businesses to their unique audiences. The YouTube Ads UX team is composed of UX Designers, Motion Designers, UX Researchers (Qualitative and Quantitative), Content Strategists, and UX Writers. We are responsible for driving design culture within the organization, and collaborating with our cross-functional partners in Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Support to better understand our users, share that understanding, and better meet our users' needs now and in the future.

We contribute to design and innovation to platforms within the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) such as Google Ads, Display, and Video 360.

User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products’ unique capabilities and personalities. Our work touches billions while exemplifying a key principle that is core to Google’s philosophy: “Focus on the user and all else will follow.”

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with a team of Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers and Sales Specialists, distributed between Zurich, San Bruno, Los Angeles, and Mountain View.
- Support the creation of innovative design solutions to users, products, and business problems. Plan and prioritize design work across multiple programs and their projects.
- Design solutions based on user insights and business intelligence that contribute to the success of business objectives.
- Support product creation by developing design concepts (e.g., mock-ups, prototypes, models) for purposes of user research and testing. Collaborate with engineers to communicate and influence design intentions.
- Understand design constraints and clearly articulate design decision rationale to partners and stakeholders. Manage and deliver specifications for implementation. Lead contributions to a holistic design process and design system across teams.
