Your mission

**Please note**: This position can be occupied in Berlin, Zurich or completely remote in Germany or Switzerland. This position offers the prospect of becoming CFO and thus a member of the Executive Board.

**Part-time scope**: at least 80%

As our Strategic Head of Finance (f/d/m), you drive the direction and success of RaiseNow in using your knowledge and understanding of the financial position and business model of RaiseNow. You are responsible for all finance activities of three companies in Switzerland (AG) and Germany (GmbH) plus multiple shareholdings.

**In detail**:

- You are an effective business partner to the CEO and COO, give advice and counsel as well as provide a voice of reason. We want you to challenge and support strategic decisions by considering costs, revenue, and liquidity risks.
- You support strategy development and help enable its execution, plus prioritizing and ensuring the strategy can be funded. You set up a business plan & budget, supporting the growth of the company by allocating funds most effectively.
- Data-driven decisions is your focus. That is why it is important to you to further expand and improve the data basis together with the Data&Insights team.
- Together with the team you set up a cash flow model and ensure the company’s liquidity at any time.
- You own future fundraising and M&A processes end-to-end
- Be responsible for reporting to our investors and budget alignment as well as reporting vs. set budgets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- You work hands-on together with your team of three employees assessing, improving, and automating the Finance department's operations and cross-functional processes.
- Establish and engage relationships with consultants, insurances, banks, and other third parties such as investors and auditors.
- Together with the team you lead the process of financial audits, the company’s financial statements and manage all stakeholders incl third parties involved in the process (e.g., tax advisors)
- Leading a team of 3 members in your team

**Profile**:

- Further Education / Bachelor / Master degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Proven track record of experience in Finance, Analytics, Management
- Affinity for tech and experience with technical, digital environments
- Familiar with Swiss and German Accounting / Finance Standards
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics
- Start-Up / Financing experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluent in English and German
