Data Privacy & Protection Manager - Technology Risk Governance
- This role is for you if you want impactful responsibilities in a regulated professional services firm's digital transformation. Assess Data Privacy & Protection aspects related to technology onboarding, compliance, and evaluate new solutions. Contribute to firm-wide innovation initiatives including our AI Risk Framework.**Zurich**

Your contribution to KPMG

Ensure technology onboarding (including AI technology) complies with data protection provisions and policies by performing privacy impact assessments (PIA)

Draft and review Data Processing Agreements as well as Standard Contractual Clauses in connection with technology onboarding.

Collaborate with the National Security Officer and DPO to meet KPMG Global Quality & Risk Management, Technology & Information Protection requirements in Data Privacy & Protection

Provide advice to engagement teams and Digital Business Technology Team in connection with technology and PIAs on data privacy requirements

Support the DPO with the development and continuous improvement of the data privacy aspects in the technology area

Evaluate risks associated with processing operations, considering nature, scope, context, and purposes including advising on a risk treatment and suggest safeguards

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including DPO and Legal Counsels.

Work with the KPMG Alliance Team to assess data privacy aspects in technology-related partnerships

Collaborate within the KPMG Global Network to exchange best practices

Fast learner, critical thinker, and diplomatic

Higher education degree and additional certification in data privacy, law, technology law, cybersecurity, or data management

In-depth knowledge/practice with Data Privacy and Protection regulations, or a similar background with a strong interest in developing DP skills

Fluent in English and German

Nice to have or a plus:

- Experience in technology contracting, contract negotiations, and SaaS agreements

Background in legal, IT/Technical, compliance, or risk management

Interest/experience in the regulatory environment for Machine Learning/LLM/AI solutions
