**Position Summary**

Our Research & Development center in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland develops for Nestlé worldwide, new products, processes and packaging in the areas of Dairy and Nutrition. The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Dairy plans and develops Innovation & Renovation pipelines to support growth and profitability of our Dairy business via a consumer centric approach. It ensures scientific, technological and manufacturing excellence through the development of the right competences.

In the frame of a new Organization set-up, we are creating the role of
**Group Leader for Innovation strategy** directly reporting to the R&D Innovation Lead of the NPTC Dairy. In this position, you will manage a team and steer the group to lead consumer centric innovation with appropriate strategic inputs through the various stages of the innovation journey.

**A Day in the Life of a Group Leader Innovation Strategy**
- Ensure consumer is at the centre of decision making
- Provide steerage on various stages of the Innovation journey
- Identify white spaces to feed the innovation pipeline
- Deliver research for projects at all stages throughout the innovation funnel
- Support launches with early-stage evaluation, course correction and appropriate KPI setting via data and analysis
- Research and analyze consumer feedback to loop into a cycle of perpetual product enhancement
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to exploit opportunities for future growth
- Manage an international Team based in different countries: give guidance, motivate and develop staff to ensure high-quality competencies

**What will make you successful**
- 15 years’ work experience in CMI (Agency and Market exposure preferable)
- Ability to set relevant research programs to deliver against the objectives
- Well versed with new tools and technologies in this space
- Robust grasp of research tools and best practices
- Strong relationship building and alignment skills
- Experimental and curious mindset
- Ability to lead and influence the conversation and present data in a compelling persuasive narrative
- Proven track record in a leadership role with direct exposure to senior management
- Strong command of English
