Data Analytics is responsible for turning data into valuable business insights. We shed light onto our markets and strive to provide all relevant information to our stakeholders so that they can navigate our legal entities within SIX towards new endeavors and take necessary decisions. We connect people, processes and data from multiple legal entities within SIX to enable a holistic approach to customer relationship management.
With this role in particular, we are looking for a young and interested talent that would like to start his or her journey in the financial service industry and will help us bring our Post Trading organization to the next level of reporting and data analytics.
**What You Will Do**:
- build and maintain dashboards, visualizations & analyses for recurring and ad hoc analytics
- liaise with stakeholders (product managers, sales, data engineers and management) to provide analytics of market structure as well as product and client behavior
- work on exploratory data analyses for decision support
- support the team in Change Management, Data Governance and Access Management initiatives
- help building a reusable code base and infrastructure for data analytics
**What You Bring**:
- bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Engineering, Business Informatics / Administration or similar field with a strong flair for computer science and some statistics
- very good command in at least one of the following languages: R, Python
- knowledge of databases, data modeling and SQL strongly required (Spark, PySpark or MS Azure would be a strong plus)
- solid basics in machine learning as well about capital and financial markets
- good command of MS Office Products and fluent in German and English
