- help shape the direction and delivery of a key strategic undertaking, supporting cross divisional needs

- proactively identify opportunities to leverage internal and external data in order to devise and implement data-driven business solutions to improve services and business processes
- support contribution to the firm-wide data marketplace by publishing results and output for iterative improvements
- identify opportunities to build reusable data assets and models, improve existing processes and deliver innovative solutions in close collaboration with data engineers, business professionals and data scientists
- contribute to the continuous expansion and improvement of the firm’s analytical ecosystem

**Your team**
- You'll be working within the global Artificial Intelligence, Data & Analytics Center of Expertise team, closely interacting with our business professionals and data scientist teams across the bank. You will be joining a team that are helping to scale, build and leverage data and AI in the business. The team partners with different divisions and functions across the Bank to develop innovative digital solutions and expand our technical expertise into new areas. The team has recently been founded and you will have the opportunity to further shape and establish its footprint in the organization.

**Your expertise**
- a degree in Business / Mathematics / Computer Science / Data Science / Statistics / Economics is ideal, but not mandatory if technical skills have been gained via relevant work experience
- ideally 8 + years of experience working with databases, data extraction, data mining, data analytics, data visualization, data modelling
- demonstrated operational understanding of modern data concepts, platforms and technologies: building data warehouses, distributed computing, streaming data, modelling concepts, DevOps and DataOps
- proven experience with Dev/Test workflows and concepts
- familiarity and deep knowledge with one or more tools and languages such as: VBA, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL or equivalent
- track record of delivery on projects involving data solutions incorporating diverse datasets
- evidence of successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
- analytical mindset and a desire to make organizations more data-driven
- ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements with concrete actions
- ability to manage and grow a consistent project pipeline, scoping projects, align and execute on execution with stakeholders
- ability to articulate technical concepts and results to diverse audiences
- solid interpersonal skills, able to build trusted relationships within the team and across the organization at all levels
- strong motivation in building the team and being a mentor to hire and upskill technical talent
- experience with Cloud and agile methods
- transferable experience in technology, consulting or finance

It would be a plus if you have:

- understanding of Data Mesh principles and how they can be used to improve business benefit and increase delivery velocity of Data Assets in a complex environment.
- English fluency is a requirement, any other language is a plus
