**ROLE**:Distressed Assets **Investment Director**

The Investment Director is primarily responsible for deal origination and coordination, return optimization, asset allocation, risk management, and investments analytics in a differentiated, global set of investment opportunities in the area of distressed assets, including single-name corporate debt, capital solutions and rescue financings, and non-performing loan (“NPL”) portfolios.

The Investment Director will be responsible for the delivery of workout & restructuring outcomes, turnaround and managed exit strategies. Furthermore, he will be responsible for relationship management and monitoring of certain deals. The Investment Director reports to the CEO.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain deal pipeline in the area of distressed assets with primary focus on Eastern European markets; track expected cash outflows and incoming cash drivers
- Lead due diligence of distressed assets, direct transaction team(s) and coordinate transaction execution and closing
- Actively work with shareholders and top-management of distressed assets / portfolio companies’ post-investment
- Business development with the objective to build a strong pipeline of potential clients funding for new investment opportunities
- Take board seats in distressed assets’ companies and partners

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master's Degree from an accredited university in Finance or similar field
- 25+ years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking
- 15+ years’ proven experience in distressed assets:

- Experience serving on creditor steering committees, leading creditor negotiations, crafting restructuring plans, and post-reorganization governance matters.
- Experience with structuring Exit Financing, distressed investing, financings for distressed investments.
- 15+ years' experience in leading and coordinating a team of specialists in the field of investment management with a focus in distressed assets
- 10+ years' experience with board mandates (preferably in the field of corporate finance or investment banking)
- Experience in building a portfolio and managing the portfolio preferably a portfolio of distressed assets
- Proven international and intercultural work experience
- Sound judgement, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills
- Strong financial modelling skills and attention to detail
- Strong business development skills
- Advanced knowledge of in Excel, Word, PowerPoint is essential
- Fluency in English (verbal and written), additional language skills are a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, 90-100%

**Salary**: CHF120,000.00 - CHF180,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 Hour Shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Bonus pay
- Performance bonus
