**Operations employee heating plant operator (M/F/d) - Maintenance of steam systems / process water systems / GMP / energy supply / process control systems of the above-mentioned systems / German / English** **Project**: For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for a Heating Plant Operator (M/F/d) **Background**: The "Energies & Utilities" department at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations is responsible for ensuring energy and media supply, building operation, and providing maintenance services. The "Energy Supply" Circle ensures the reliable, regulatory-compliant, and cost-effective operation of heating, cooling, and process media, including supply and disposal. In this position, you will ensure the availability, regulatory-compliant, and economical operation of the systems and maintain systems. You will be responsible for system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous optimization (energy, costs). **Main tasks and areas of responsibility**: - Operate steam plants, combined heat and power (CHP), TAV and process water systems in a GMP & GEP compliant, optimized and inspection-ready manner - Inspection tours and data recording - Maintain logbooks - Implement BCM for the plants & systems - Manage spare parts - Interpret energy consumption and derive measures - Work in a 3-shift model (change to normal working hours possible in the next 2-3 years) Lone workstation **Must Haves**: - Completed technical vocational training and further training as a heating plant operator - At least three years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of steam plants and process water plants is an advantage - Experience in a GMP environment - Practical experience in energy supply is an advantage - You are experienced in operating process control systems for the aforementioned systems - Independent and self-organized working methods - Team player - Understanding and good ability to navigate within a matrix organization - Fluent written and spoken German, ideally knowledge of English round off your profile. **Reference No.: 924403SDA** **Role: Operations employee Heating plant operator** **Industry: Pharma** **Place of work** : Basel **Workload** : 100% **Start** : 01.11.2025 **Duration** : 12 months **Application deadline** : 15.09.2025 **Job Type**: 100% Work Location: On the road
