Proclinical are recruiting an Associate Scientist for a pharmaceutical establishment. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Basel. The client is focused on people's lives and how to prolong and improve them.

**Responsibilities**:

- When needed, you will handle the exchanges with shareholders on an internal and external basis, which involves outsourced actions to CROs through offering scientific and technical direction.
- Actively recognise scientific, technological and GMP challenges, suggest resolutions and convey crucial problems to the Analytical Project Leader or respective technical project team.
- Operate rendering to suitable SOPs, GMP, Quality Directives, Health and Safety & internal company regulations.
- Prepare, comprehend and document outcomes of scientific experiments for source of drug substances and drug products in a timely manner.
- Conduct raw data checks for externalised actions.
- Manage scribing and evaluating analytical papers such as Analytical methods, Specifications, Validation reports, Stability reports, Batch records for stability and release testing, as well as positioning the conforming actions within an international project team.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Educated to an advanced degree level in analytical chemistry or a similar discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical organisation with a proven record in GMP actions for development of advertised products.
- Know-how on analytical raw data documents, document writing such as Stability Report, Validation, etc.
- Chemistry, pharmaceutical or analytical sciences knowledge with the ability to perform well in a highly energetic setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools such as HPLC, LC-MS, Quality management systems, statistical evaluation tools, etc.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability for scientific/technical scribing.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in the German language.
