Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry with global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. They are undergoing a transformation with respect to culture and outside perception. The organisation focusses on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology and is also currently developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology with one of the strongest pipelines of Phase II/III studies in the world.
They are currently looking an **Associate Scientist **in **Basel **for a contract of the duration of** 12 months**.
The Integrated Analytical Operations team is looking for a GMP trained and motivated lab technician with proven experience in In Process Control analytics with a focus on liquid chromatography, gas chromatography and wet chemistry.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- You will be responsible for the setup and execution of IPC methods.
- You will support release/retest of raw materials to be used in the manufacturing.
- You will operate different analytical lab instruments (LC, GC, titrators, RAMAN, UV).
- You will document the data generated under GMP.
- You will support training of lab and plant associates by organizing ad-hoc technical trainings.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant area.
- 2+ years hands-on experience.
- Experience with HPLC, UHPLC and GC chromatographic systems as well as wet chemistry.
- Good technical skills in the operation and maintenance of instrumentation and software.
- Good understanding of GMP as well as experience in pharmaceutical development activities.
- Good command of English and German (spoken and written).
