**About the Role**:
We will empower our interns with opportunities to deliver on business challenges aligned to their field of study - all while working right alongside field professionals and leaders who will support enhancing our interns’ skills and experience. Intern activity participation may include but is not limited to: comprehensive onboarding, operational duties in their department, project-based duties, virtual speaker series with senior leaders, networking opportunities, job shadowing, and presentations.
Based within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Finance department in Bussigny, the role of the Finance Intern is to offer day to day support and assistance to the EMEA Finance Team across all brands. During your time at Helen of Troy you will gain exposure to the total business as much possible, this in order to develop an understanding of a finance role.
You are looking for a first professional experience in line you’re your studies Accounting & Finance and need a practical experience. You are flexible, able to prioritize, proactive and can work with a good level of autonomy. With hands-on and solution-driven attitude, you possess good communication and analytical skills making you a strong team player.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing support on various finance-related tasks, including coordination with internal teams to improve processes, assisting with data clean-up, and helping review financial terms.
- Contributing to efforts aimed at enhancing efficiency in collections and overall data accuracy
- Coordinating the CM portfolio listing with Sales and relevant internal stakeholders to accelerate cash collection efforts (covering approximately 15-20 customers
- Supporting Customer Master data clean-up activities (AR clean up
- Conducting a review of cash discount terms, comparing actual deductions against agreed payment terms (KESA)
- Assisting in the setup and implementation of dunning letters
**Minimum Qualifications/ Skills**:
- University degree or equivalent education / experience in Accounting or Finance
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in French would be an asset
- Excitement bout joining midsize yet growing brands
- Must be authorised to work in Switzerland
