**Role purpose**

This internship at Edwards gives you the opportunity to be part of the Global HR/Organization Effectiveness team. The purpose is to utilize data collection, modelling, analysis and interpretation to understand talent challenges and trends across multiple geographies and provide insights and strategic recommendations to proactively plan Edwards talents and workforce of the future.

The 6-month full time internship provides exposure to our leadership team, community activities, and social events with other interns and recent new graduates. You'll have the chance to develop and demonstrate your technical skills, as well as interact first hand with our patient-focused culture.

**Key responsibilities**
- Engage in regional Workforce Planning cycle including complex activities in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix team
- Supporting analytics team activities for advancing data insights from HR, external market analysis and benchmark and business outcomes while anticipating future needs
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders (HR teams, Business Units, Functions) to map business challenges, problems and opportunities leading to regional Talent & Organization strategic roadmap
- Design graphics and reports that clearly communicate key insights drawn from data

**Education and skills**
- Preferably master’s degree student who wants to complete his/her internship at Edwards Lifesciences
- Fluent English is a must, other European language an advantage
- Any internship/work experience in an international company highly preferred, consulting experience a big advantage
- Advanced user of MS Office, MS Excel in particular, Power BI an advantage
- Great analytical skills, data analysis enthusiast
- Great communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Ability to work with a certain level of autonomy and in an international environment
- Self-motivated, proactive & very detail-oriented person with an interest in the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
