Director of Validation

Hobson Prior are seeking for a Director of Validation to join a brilliant organisation on a permanent basis located in Zurich with the ability to work remotely from home. Our client is focused on producing high-quality therapeutics and vaccines through processes developed in-house or through processes transferred in their clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For the position of Director of Validation, you will be responsible for handling project resources to achieve outlines scope of work and company objectives.
- Offer validation assistance in aberration investigations and modifying controls.
- You will be handling multiple complex project objectives simultaneously.
- Direct validation actions assisting with manufacturing sites.
- Plan and implement validation studies that are yielding with corroborated processes and associated with industry best practices.
- Partake in regulatory archiving and reviews.
- Travel as needed by the business.

**Key Skills**:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Problem solving capabilities with the ability to implement these proficiencies to role technical matters.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a science or engineering discipline with at least 8-10 years of validation experience within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Previous experience in Facility, Equipment and Utility or Cleaning validation, ideally in a multi-product facility.
- Familiarity with Process Validation.
- Former know-how in overseeing internal reports and contractors.
- Proven acquaintance with cGMP compliance.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Practical experience in Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation activities (CQV) which involve New facility CQV activities and scheduling; Process; Cleaning; Media filling.
- Proven familiarity with authoring and analysing SOPs and protocols for precision, traceability, and compliance.
- Prior knowledge of conducting and managing validation studies within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry.
