**DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS**
Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport The Circle, opened in 2021, is the first hotel of the Hyatt Regency brand in Switzerland. Located in the sustainable The Circle district at Zurich Airport, it offers 255 hotel rooms, the Babel Restaurant and the Bar Iris. Direct access to The Circle Convention Center, one of Switzerland's largest, makes it a prime venue for hosting conferences and events. The hotel's commitment to unparalleled hospitality and its strategic location make it a premier destination for all kind of travels.
As the Director of Operations you will lead the Front Office, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Bar and last but not least the Circle Convention Center which is part of The Circle at Zurich Airport and directly connected to the hotel. Offering unique event spaces, which are designed around any kind of events, whether this is a large-scale celebration, an international congress or the launch of a product. The Convention Hall can host up to 1500 persons.
Together with the support of your Department Heads you make sure that the targets are reached, but you also act as coach for them. Next to this you implement and adjust the Hyatt Standards where necessary to meet the Hyatt Regency guest promise to make travel free from stress and filled with success. Furthermore you are working closely together with Director of Events and the Events Sales & Planning team to ensure smooth delivery & execution of events.
Guests and colleagues will see you often in the different Outlets, however you are also taking your time to analyze the Revenue vs. Costs and take action accordingly without jeopardizing the guest satisfaction. You are always up to date about the local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotels/restaurant operations to make sure our hotel operations remain competitive and cutting edge.
Do you have a strong operational background as Director of Operations for the past years in a hotel with preferable a larger MICE operations? You have a strong leadership personality to drive hotel teams towards operational excellence? You are fluent in German and English? You are creative and hands-on? Then we are looking for you
