As a key pillar of the EU Green Deal the EU Taxonomy will have a major impact on legal reporting requirements of the next decades. It is transformative as it affects investment decisions and thus impacts the way companies conduct their business. As the trusted IT partner for Siemens Corporate Finance, we support the corporate functions as well as the Siemens businesses in designing and implementing IT services and platforms that are required to efficiently shape the sustainable future of Siemens.

**Role mission**

Combining technical know-how and a fresh thinking with respect to problem solving, you provide state of the art IT services and platforms to solve the requirements of EU Taxonomy and beyond.

Working closely with the various experts in the Siemens businesses and governance units, you listen to their needs and ideate solutions on how to deliver transparency and actionable insights, so they can transform their business towards sustainable growth.

You are highly engaged in thinking about how to integrate environmental, social and governance factors into existing financial processes and data platforms. Extending compliant disclosure processes by the manifold sustainability KPIs in a highly heterogenous, dynamic environment is what interests you.

**Key areas of responsibility**:

- You are the key contact and trusted partner for our customers. You interact regularly with a diverse group of internal stakeholders across Siemens (e.g. finance, sustainability, businesses) and understand their needs.
- You play a key role in the design of the future non-financial reporting, planning and steering solutions by identifying new demands, gathering requirements, and designing solutions.
- As a thought leader, you continuously improve and share your learnings and successes within your community of worldwide IT experts.

Use your skills to move the world forward.
- You have an university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or economics with strong technology focus.
- You have domain expertise in sustainability and / or finance (accounting, controlling, and closing) and a sound knowledge of the latest ESG related non-financial reporting requirements and regulatory developments like EU Taxonomy.
- Strategic thinking and a clear customer-oriented communication and consulting behavior are part of your DNA.
- You have experience in managing various stakeholders and their needs. With your broad experience in requirements management, you can turn customer needs into digital solution ideas.
- You have experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle: demand management, requirements engineering, solution design and implementation, (agile) project & service management.
- Excellent technical understanding with a broad experience in enterprise and cloud solution architectures and software development.
- You have a strong digitalization background (e.g. in automation, AI, make value out of data) and think in end-2-end processes.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and have the demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment delivering value to your business partners.
- You are fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
