**High Power Rectifiers - Operations & Material Planner (80-100%)**:

ABB's High-Power Rectifiers unit designs and manufactures customized rectifier systems for aluminum smelting plants, electric steel plants, and the chemical industry. For the rectifiers the complete value chain from the designing phase until the manufacturing & testing phase is happening in Switzerland. Within this area, we have an open position as Operations & Material Planner in the High-Power Rectifier Business. This position reports to the HPR Operations Manager.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Run the overall operations planning together with the Operations Manager. This includes the creation of rough project schedules in Sales Phase as well as the preparation of the input for the load planning of engineering, main suppliers, and the production
- Run the forecast process of all long lead project material. This includes the definition of the forecast material for each project in sales phase together with engineering
- Manage the stock level of the aluminum profiles for the rectifier production.
- Support the product costing process by running cost analysis after the finalization of the projects
- Material shortage coordination: In case of material shortages, support the Operations Manager in the material distribution and prioritization of the project material to achieve the best result for the organization
- Interact with the all operations departments to gather information for the operations
- and material planning

**Your background**:

- Knowledge in rectifier design or manufacturing is an advantage
- Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Office tools (e.g. MS Excel)
- Independent and committed way of working
- A high level of self-motivation
- Fluency in English and German
