Local Division Controller

**Local Division Controller (80-100%)**:

As a local division controller, you will be responsible for monthly closing, budgeting and forecasting in line with ABB Group. You will also act as first point of contact in controlling and CO-SAP related questions.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance of the unit with ABB standards, regulations and guidelines
- Participate in project reviews, providing financial guidance to the project management team and managing financial risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with global and local project review guidance and internal control requirements
- Identify cost savings potentials, work closely with Operations Manager
- Timely and efficient communication with the local management team and to global stakeholders on financial performance and actions, business partnering
- Drive capital efficiency (Net Working Capital), identify measurements to improve OCF
- Support business planning, implementation and follow up according to business unit strategies
- Support local and global R&D project managers in all R&D related matters; ensure timely and accurate R&D reporting
- Ensure compliance with tax specifications / requirements in regards of field service activities
- Supports internal and external audits and signs off assurance letter for the area of responsibility

**Your background**:

- Master or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Finance (or similar)
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in an international business environment, accounting and/or business control function
- Willing to work under pressure, to assume responsibility
- Hands-on mentality and the ability to work independently, pragmatic and proactively both with local and global contacts
- Profound knowledge finance and control end-to-end processes and tools (SAP, BW, etc.) and USGAAP regulations (e. g. knowledge of revenue recognition principles)
- Project Controller Certification and experience in Service Controlling is a plus
- Fluent in English and German
