Lab Cleaner

**Project**:
For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a qualified
Lab Cleaner (M/F/d).

**Background**:
The Research & Development Services team at Roche Diagnostics International (RDI) leads the management of R&D laboratories and associated equipment to ensure the safety, compliance and smooth operations of local R&D laboratories.
The Lab Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our BSL1 and BSL2 laboratories, managing waste collection, and oversee the stocking of common consumables within Roche Diagnostic Solutions (RDS).
This position will be based at RDI campus located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland..

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Manages, oversees, and executes the following in their assigned BSL1 & BSL2:
**- Primary Tasks**:

- regular cleaning of the BSL1 & BSL2 laboratories according to the
hygiene plan
- Waste management, including collection and disposal

**- Secondary Tasks**:

- lab coat management, including adequate supply, collection, and
cleaning.
- operation and monitoring of dishwasher, drying furnace, and autoclaves
- Maintaining a stock of common lab consumables
- pipettes calibration support
- Participates in the on-call services for the CTU excursion
- Dry ice area cleaning

**Must Haves**:

- Willingness to work in the following conditions:

- Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting heavy waste bins
Regularly
- Work with potentially infectious biological material
- German - B2 and English B2 Level
- Proficient with MS Excel and Google suite

**Soft Skills**:

- Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player, self organized and motivated individual.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

**Nice to Have**:

- Hep B vaccination (Can also be provided by Roche)
- Relevant experience in a cleaner or laboratory environment.

No BSc, MSc, PHD degree will be considered for this role
