**Lab Cleaner/Technician (m/w/d) - waste management/MS Excel/Google Suite/German/English**

**Project**:
For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Lab Cleaner/Technician (m/w/d).

**Background**:
The Research & Development Services team at Roche Diagnostics International (RDI) leads the management of R&D laboratories and associated equipment to ensure the safety, compliance and smooth operations of local R&D laboratories. The Lab Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our BSL1 and BSL2 laboratories, managing waste collection, and oversee the stocking of common consumables within Roche Diagnostic Solutions (RDS).

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Manages, oversees, and executes the following in their assigned BSL1 &; BSL2:
Primary Tasks:

- regular cleaning of the BSL1 &; BSL2 laboratories according to the hygiene plan
- waste management including collection and disposal

Secondary Tasks:

- lab coat management including adequate supply, collection and cleaning
- operation and monitoring of dishwasher, drying furnace and autoclaves
- maintaining stock of common lab consumables
- pipettes calibration support
- Participates in the on-call services for CTU excursion
- Dry ice area cleaning

**Must Haves**:
Willingness to work in the following conditions:

- Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting heavy waste bins regularly
- Work with potentially infectious biological material
- Proficient with MS Excel and Google suite
- German - B2 and English B2 Level
- Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, self organized and motivated individual
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions

**Nice to Have**:

- Hep B vaccination (Can also be provided by Roche)
- Relevant experience as a cleaner or laboratory environment
