80 – 100%Quality through innovation.Your challenge*Independently lead and conduct research projects in shoulder and elbow surgery*Design and implement studies, manage data collection and analysis, and ensure data quality*Perform advanced statistical analyses and contribute to machine learning-based modelling*Write and publish high-quality scientific papers; present at national and international conferences*Participate in grant writing*Collaborate closely with clinicians and external partners*Supervise students, research assistants, and study assistants*Contribute to the strategic development of the research groupWhat impresses us*PhD in a relevant biomedical field (e.g., clinical research, health science, epidemiology)*Significant record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating scientific productivity and impact.*Strong analytical skills and sound knowledge of statistical methodology, ideally with experience managing large datasets*Experience with R, Stata or similar analytical software; machine learning experience is a plus*Excellent knowledge of the clinical research process from planning through to publication*Familiarity with orthopaedic research; direct experience in upper extremity outcomes research is an advantage*Excellent English (spoken and written, especially scientific/medical English); German comprehension or willingness to learn*Well-developed communication and organisational skills; ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines*Passionate about research, with integrity and the ability to work under pressureWhat you getHomeofficeTeam spiritFamily atmosphereTraining opportunitiesWork-life balance / Family-friendliness"Your next challenge: excellence meets responsibility"Questions about the job?Dr. phil.
