Philogen-Siena focuses on product optimization/production according to GMP standards and on clinical trial investigationsWe seek an enthusiastic research associate/scientist to join the Mass Spectrometry team at Philochem.The team develops and applies Mass Spectrometry-based techniques for the company’s drug discovery and development programs.Philochem focuses its research on targeted therapy in oncology. The research pipeline includes both biopharmaceuticals (i.e., immunocytokines) and small molecules (i.e., small molecule-radio conjugates and small molecule-drug conjugates).You will be responsible for executing Philochem’s mass spectrometry activities, developing and implementing novel methodologies to expand the team’s capabilities, and supporting team members in their activities. Together with the team, you will provide answers to discovery and development questions, facilitate the advancement of pre-clinical and clinical products, and contribute to the discovery of innovative therapies.ResponsibilitiesUse and maintain state-of-the-art HPLC and mass spectrometry instrumentation (i.e., Orbitrap)Design, plan, and execute scientific projects related to R&D programsImplement new workflows and applicationsGenerate reports and internal documentsInteract with internal and external partners and collaboratorsGive scientific presentationsWrite scientific articles and publish them in peer-reviewed scientific journalsMaster’s degree or PhD in chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, with a focus on mass spectrometry applicationsExcellent experience in the use and maintenance of HPLC and high-resolution mass spectrometry instrumentsExtensive experience with sample preparation procedures for mass spectrometry-based analysisVery good knowledge of the drug discovery and development process for both small molecules and biopharmaceuticalsVery good knowledge of data analysis and editing Software (i.e., R/Python, Prism, Illustrator)Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.Applications need to include the candidate’s CV, a letter of motivation, and 2 reference contacts.Interested candidates are kindly asked to send their Curriculum Vitae to the following e-mail address jobopportunities@philogen.it, specifying the job position of interest authorizing the process of personal data under Italian Legislative Decree 196/03 and General Data Protection EU Regulation (2016/679). #J-18808-Ljbffr
