Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Our Global Indirect Procurement Team, an integral part of Global Supply Chain Management, not only manages spend but also fosters innovation, strengthens supplier partnerships, and creates lasting value across all indirect categories. To support our team of procurement professionals, we are looking for a talented, highly motivated individual who wants to start or advance their career as a Global Category Manager Digital Transformation (all genders; 100%), working closely with the Lead Category Manager.In this role, your responsibilities would include:Establish, implement, and execute category strategies and portfolio optimization for IT hardware, software, and services in close collaboration with our Digital Business Solutions teamDrive innovative approaches to transform existing business models and unlock untapped potentialLead procurement processes and complex negotiations for new deals and renewals, coordinating with business stakeholders and legal teams worldwide to optimize spending, mitigate risks, and ensure contractual flexibilityBuild strong, collaborative relationships with functional leaders (IT, Finance, Legal), General Managers, and global procurement and supply chain teams to align procurement with business objectives and drive resultsManage supplier relationships and performanceLeverage digital tools, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making processes, improve category and procurement strategies, and identify and execute cost-saving opportunitiesParticipate in cross-functional projects related to the advancement of our procurement organization What You Need to Succeed Following requirements are necessary for this role: Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, IT engineering, supply chain management, or a related field5 or more years of experience in IT procurement, consulting, or key account management within a globally operating organizationExtensive negotiation and contract management skillsProactive in challenging the status quo and drive change, with strong project management skills and proven capabilities in managing complex initiatives while effectively influencing stakeholders at all levels and across different culturesExcellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners across global businessesAbility to gain buy-in and influence key stakeholders at all levels in a global organizationStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insightsProficiency in leveraging digital tools and AI to optimize processes and drive innovationWillingness to travel internationally as business needs arise (5%) Our Offer to You We offer:Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunitiesA 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidaysFree parking and direct access to public transportHealthy lunches cooked onsite at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurant, with special prices for employees We offer a dynamic and innovation-driven corporate culture that promotes teamwork, personal development, and a passion for excellence.A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businessesYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.Have we raised your interest?
