Working as a Product Manager, you will support the Product Manager Department at PMA Cable Protection Systems, in various product life cycle activities (market analysis, conceptualization, development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability) to ensure a sustainable growth within the expansion plan of the product line.
**This position reports to**:
Global Product Manager Director
**Your responsibilities**:
- Supports the product entire lifecycle activities of certain products.
- Facilitates information transfer from customers into the organization.
- Support compelling business case for product development, including cost streamlining and pricing setup.
- Prepares various analyses by market, products, and competitors.
- Collaborates to define marketing plans to promote sales activities.
- Coordinate actions between different functions.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical or similar
- Manufacturing industry background for minimum of 5 years
- Knowledge of industrialized processes such extrusion, injection molding, general machining and non-ferrous alloys will be a plus
- Proven experience in a multi-discipline environment
- Project Management skills
- Problem solving and analytical
- Ability to work with stakeholders
- Able to work independently under own initiative
- Proficient in English and German languages
