IN SHORT We're looking for a Data Platform Engineer %) in Zurich preferrably with MLOps expertise to build and scale our data infrastructure. You'll be the technical foundation enabling our Data & Insights value stream to deliver real-time dashboards, predictive models, and automated decision-making systems. Your mission: Build the data foundation for intelligent operations. You'll design and implement scalable data pipelines, ML infrastructure, and analytics platforms that turn our massive IoT and business data streams into competitive advantages through automation and insights.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Data Platform ArchitectureDesign and implement unified data platform architecture (data lake, data warehouse, streaming) Build scalable data ingestion pipelines for IoT sensors, transaction data, and external APIs Implement real-time data processing systems for operational decision-making Design data modeling and governance frameworks ensuring data quality and lineage MLOps & Model InfrastructureBuild ML model training, deployment, and monitoring infrastructure Implement automated model retraining and validation pipelines Design feature stores and model registry systems Create A/B testing frameworks for model performance evaluation Implement model monitoring and drift detection systems Analytics & Business IntelligenceBuild and maintain analytics infrastructure supporting real-time dashboards Design data APIs and self-service analytics tools for business teams Implement data processing workflows for business intelligence and reporting Create data products supporting operational decision-making Data Operations & QualityImplement data quality monitoring and alerting systems Design data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures Manage data security, privacy, and compliance (GDPR) Optimize performance and cost of data infrastructure YOUR PROFILE 4+ years of experience building scalable data platforms, pipelines, and working with data warehouse/lake architectures. Strong proficiency with cloud data services (Azure, Snowflake, DBT) and processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Airflow). Excellent skills in Python, SQL, and data modeling techniques. Nice to have: 2+ years of experience with the full ML lifecycle, including model monitoring, versioning, automated retraining, and feature engineering. (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch and/or MLflow, Kubeflow). Proficient with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), version control, and CI/CD practices. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation). Understanding of API design and service-oriented architecture. Skilled at translating business requirements into technical solutions and an understanding of analytics and BI requirements. Knowledge of real-time analytics, stream processing, time-series forecasting, A/B testing, and data privacy regulations is beneficial.
