Role Description: The Research Analyst supports the investment decision-making process by conducting in-depth analysis of markets, industries, and companies. Working within the asset management team, the analyst is responsible for generating insights, building financial models, and producing high-quality research to guide portfolio strategies. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a keen interest in global financial markets and long-term investment trends. Key Responsibilities: Conduct fundamental and quantitative research across sectors, asset classes, or geographies. Analyze financial statements, valuation metrics, and macroeconomic data to support investment theses. Build and maintain financial models to assess company performance, valuation, and risk factors. Prepare investment research reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal use. Monitor market developments, earnings releases, and news that impact portfolio holdings. Support portfolio managers with investment ideas, risk analysis, and portfolio construction. Attend industry events, earnings calls, and meetings with company management as part of due diligence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including strategy, compliance, and trading. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; Master's or CFA designation (or candidacy) is a plus. 1–4 years of experience in investment research, equity or fixed income analysis, asset management, or related financial services. Strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, etc.). Proficiency in Excel and financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ. Solid understanding of capital markets, portfolio theory, and investment products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious. Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
