As Business Development Manager, you will be the bridge between market demand and optical innovation: spotting trends before they peak, uncovering fresh use-cases for our current portfolio, shaping the roadmap for next-generation products, and partnering with our sales team to turn opportunities into sustainable growth. Tasks Strategic development of Optotune’s business in laser applications Acquisition of new customers worldwide Market research & definition of new products Creation of sales & training materials, business plans and go-to-market strategies Content creation for marketing materials Participation in trade shows Requirements Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent) At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in optics/photonics Experience in management consulting advantageous Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions Passion for technology & innovation, winning personality, well organized, autonomous and prepared to travel internationally Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, other languages advantageous Good working knowledge in MS Office applications Benefits Annual salary review and annual bonus (ESOP = Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Flexible working hours Home office Regular events: Ski day, Bike2Work, Friday beer, Optorocket, Float to work & more Great place to work activities (coffee/tea/fruits for free, various activities during the year) and Optogym Vacation: 5 weeks vacation + additional compensation days Pension (SWISS LIFE): Attractive pension fund package with coverage beyond the statutory requirements Sick day insurance: up to 730 days of salary coverage in the event of sickness Parenthood: 16 weeks maternity leave, 3 weeks paternity leave + flexible return policy Are you an outgoing person looking for a challenging job in an innovative environment?
