Major/Essential Functions Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis Conducts detailed patient interviews and medical histories. Performs comprehensive physical examinations and compiles medical data. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, EKGs, lab work) to identify health concerns. Clinical Procedures & Treatment Performs therapeutic procedures such as: Injections and immunizations Wound care and suturing Infection management Develops and implements patient care plans. Documents progress and supports continuity of care. Patient Education & Counseling Educates patients on treatment plans, medication adherence, and health maintenance. Provides counseling on lifestyle factors and emotional challenges related to daily living. Emergency Care Provides emergency medical services independently when necessary, including urgent diagnosis and treatment, until a physician arrives. Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
