Tasks Your Mission As DevOps Lead & Solution Architect at Xelon, you bridge two critical domains: enabling customer success through secure, scalable architectures, while driving our internal DevOps practices forward. You act as a connector between Sales, Product, Engineering, and ITOps—translating customer needs into robust solutions and ensuring platform reliability, automation, and compliance. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, ProductOps, DevSecOps, Sales and ITOps to establish best practices, reduce complexity, and empower teams to move fast with confidence.**Architecture & Engineering** Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized infrastructures for customers. Document and maintain architecture blueprints, integration flows, and system designs. Ensure all architectures comply with regulatory standards (SOC2, ISO, GDPR). Sales & Pre-Sales Support Act as a technical advisor during workshops, discovery sessions, and RFPs. Provide technical validation for proposals and onboarding. Develop reusable solution templates to accelerate sales cycles. DevOps, Automation & Observability Lead the improvement of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices. Operate and scale observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Provide developer self-service tools (sandbox environments, log access). Platform Evolution & Compliance Drive platform scalability, reliability, and long-term sustainability. Integrate automated compliance and security checks into pipelines. Document platform evolution decisions in the Atlassian Stack. Cross-functional Collaboration & Enablement Act as a bridge between Sales, ProductOps, Engineering, DevOps, and ITOps. Mentor engineers and promote best practices across teams. Strengthen developer productivity and customer trust. Requirements 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or Solution Engineering. Hands-on expertise in CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform, Ansible). Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (OpenStack, AWS, Azure). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across functions. Fluent in English and good German skills. Located in Switzerland (mandatory). Bonus Points Pre-sales or customer-facing architecture experience. Background in regulated environments (ISO, SOC2, GDPR).
