We are building amodular portable energy systemdesigned for real‑world deployment and mass manufacturing.This isnota consulting role.This isnotan advisory position.This is along‑term CTO rolefor someone who has taken hardware products into production and wants to own the technical reality of a company.Chief Technology Officer (Hardware)Modular Power Systems – Long‑Term RoleThe MissionYou will take an existing concept‑level design and turn it into amanufacturing‑ready hardware platform , then own its evolution into production and scale.Your responsibility is not to produce slides or roadmaps, but tomake the product buildable.What You Will OwnMechanical architecture and system integrityManufacturing‑ready enclosure designModular docking and interface systemsEngineering standards and technical decision makingManufacturing readiness and supplier interaction (with the founder)Hiring and leading the future engineering teamImmediate Focus (First 3–6 Months)Lock mechanical architecture and interfacesDeliver production‑intent CAD and documentationEnsure the product can be quoted, tooled, and builtEliminate engineering risk rather than document itCore Technical ScopeInjection‑molded enclosure designDFM and DFA embedded from day oneSingle‑action modular docking system – short rotation under forty‑five degrees; load‑bearing and anti‑rotationBattery, BMS, inverter, and PCB integrationThermal airflow design intentEnvironmental design withIP55 design intentAuthority ModelYou own:Technical feasibilityEngineering trade‑offsSafety and manufacturability decisionsThe founder retains final authority on:Cost ceilingsTimelinesBusiness riskGo or no‑go decisionsClear ownership.
