You will oversee financial reporting and ensure the smooth functioning of the daily operations of a family office. You will be hands-on and cover several jurisdictions.Chief accountantOur client is a family office.DescriptionPrepare and oversee accurate financial statements and reporting in compliance with applicable regulations;Manage the accounting team to ensure efficient and timely processing of financial transactions;Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies;Support budget planning and forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making;Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes;Review and improve accounting procedures for enhanced efficiency and accuracy;Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management for informed decision-making;Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.ProfileAn academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field;At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar position;Ability toProfessional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous;Fluency in English and French.Job OfferYou will join a human-sized working environment based in the city centre of Geneva.
