Learn more at Job Function: Career Programs Job Sub Function: Non-LDP Intern/Co-Op Job Category: Career Program All Job Posting Locations: Oberdorf, Basel-Country, Switzerland Job Description: Job Description:- As an intern in the Robotics R&D, you will be a part of our team and support our engineers in developing the next generation of orthopedic/surgical robotics and navigation systems. Tasks include but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities: * Support numerous work activities as part of the development process of new medical devices. * Build concepts for medical devices and test setups. * Design prototypes and coordinate manufacturing in the prototype shop. * Coordinate and support mechanical tests * Develop layouts and tolerance studies, participate in performing design evaluations (such as FEA, simulated use testing, dry labs and wet tissue labs etc.) * Write technical & scientific reports * Present your results to your colleagues. Qualifications - Skills: * A high level of enthusiasm and a keen interest in the MedTech industry * Excellent German, French or Italian, as well as very good English skills; other languages are a plus * Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and common visualization tools (eg Power BI) * Applied programming and data analysis skills (eg Java, SQL) * Able to understand scientific data and to translate these into a practical narrative * Team spirit, creativity, proactivity and a strong organizational talent Our Offering: * 6/7 months full time internship in an international healthcare company to grow your professional experience, start date February 2026 * The chance to be part of a world-leading company in the MedTech field and to have this cross-functional experience added to your CV. * Great team and excellent sense of belonging * Flexible working conditions with the opportunity of 40% remote work if the job allows * Many attractive benefits support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
