Job Overview

The VisilabGroup, a leading optician in Switzerland with numerous brands and 170 stores, is seeking an experienced IT Development Manager to lead its team of developers and DBAs. Located in Geneva, this full-time position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

This role involves guiding and managing the team in planning, monitoring, and executing developments within the project portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
  • Understanding user needs and writing specifications.
  • Carrying out developments in response to user needs (mainly in .NET, XAMARIN, Angular).
  • Providing user support and participating in the maintenance of applications.
  • Participating in the design of data models with the DBA team.
  • Testing and validating IT developments.
  • Cooperating with business analysts.

Your Qualifications and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies and at least 5 years of experience as an IT development manager. Essential skills include:
  • Mastery of development in the .NET environment: ASP.NET, C#.NET, Xamarin, WCF, WPF, Entity Framework, Microservices.
  • Mastery of development in an SQL Server environment (Transact-SQL).
  • Knowledge of management information systems (ERP, PURCHASING, SALES).
  • Mastery of IT tools (MS OFFICE - Word, Excel, MS PROJECT, VISIO).
  • Ability to analyze user needs and write specifications.
  • Fluency in French and English; German advantageous.

Our Offer

This senior role within our IT department offers a competitive salary and a unique opportunity for professional growth and development. The estimated salary for this position is between CHF 80,000 and CHF 110,000 per year.
