Data Migration Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Project Manager to join our team at Stadler. As a Data Migration Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing data migration activities within system setup and system migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage data migration activities to ensure seamless integration with system setup and system migration projects.
- Collaborate with the group-wide MDM function to set up data rules and monitoring principles.
- Clean and maintain existing master data to ensure accurate application of governance principles.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful data migration.
- Document migration processes and results to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Logical and analytical thinking with experience in data migration or master data management.
- Experience with ERP and/or EAM Systems (SAP S/4 HANA, Hexagon EAM) is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL is favorable.
- Several years of working experience in data migration or master data management.
- Experience in Project Management, certification is favorable.
- Team-player and customer-oriented personality with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
About Stadler Service
The Business Application department within Division Service consists of approximately 30 employees across multiple countries, organized in three sub-teams. The team focuses on managing the roll-out of SAP S/4 HANA and setting up system-independent minimum standards for processes and data.
