Data Migration Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Project Manager to join our team at Stadler. As a Data Migration Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing data migration activities within system setup and system migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage data migration activities to ensure seamless system setup and migration.
  • Collaborate with the group-wide MDM function to set up data rules and monitoring principles.
  • Clean and maintain existing master data to ensure accurate governance principles.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Document migration processes and results for future reference.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Experience with ERP and/or EAM Systems (SAP S/4 HANA, Hexagon EAM) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
  • Several years of experience in data migration or master data management.
  • Project management experience, certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English and German.
