Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel to join our team in Geneva, Switzerland. This role will involve managing a portfolio of trademarks, providing legal advice on IP matters, developing strategies to protect our brand and intellectual property rights globally, and supporting litigation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of trademarks, domain names, and copyrights in alignment with business strategy and brand architecture
- Provide IP legal advice, conducting trademark clearance searches, and advising on risk analysis, chances of success, and costs related to infringements and oppositions
- Develop and implement strategies to protect our brand and intellectual property rights globally
- Litigation Support: Support Brand IP litigation and disputes, working closely with the relevant team
- Law degree or qualification as a Trademark attorney
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as IP counsel, preferably with in-house practice
- Strong knowledge of IP laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously
