We are seeking an experienced Data Management Strategist to lead our organization's data strategy and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive data strategies that align with business objectives.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a data strategy in alignment with organizational goals, ensuring it serves as a catalyst for business growth.
  2. Establish and maintain robust data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  3. Lead a team of data professionals, including data scientists, analysts, and engineers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  4. Drive the implementation of cutting-edge data architectures and technologies to meet evolving business requirements.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to enhance business processes, products, and services.
  6. Ensure effective data management and integration across different systems and platforms.
  7. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in data management to recommend strategic investments.
  8. Advocate for data literacy and awareness throughout the organization, facilitating training and communication initiatives.
  9. Work collaboratively with IT and other departments to align data initiatives with overarching business objectives.
  10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to gauge the effectiveness of data management and utilization efforts.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience

About You:

  1. Proven track record as a senior leader in data management with a history of successfully implementing robust data strategies.
  2. Advanced degree in a relevant field such as data science, information management, or business analytics.
  3. Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams towards achieving common objectives.
  5. Proficiency in data technologies, architectures, and tools, with a keen eye for innovation.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with executives, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  7. Strategic mindset with the ability to align data initiatives with overarching business goals.
