Key Responsibilities:

As a Quantitative Portfolio Strategist at EMCORE Asset Management AG, you will be part of a dynamic research, structuring, and investment team. Your role will involve contributing to the development of advanced models and analytical tools to support investment decisions and optimize portfolio performance.

  • Develop and implement quantitative models for analyzing market and investment data.
  • Support the creation and enhancement of trading strategies, risk analysis models, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify market trends and anomalies.
  • Optimize portfolios using quantitative techniques such as stochastic modeling and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio management team to develop innovative investment approaches.
  • Validate and further develop existing investment models to enhance risk efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Finance, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • Strong knowledge in the development and implementation of quantitative models and algorithms.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, or C++.
  • Familiarity with applying machine learning and artificial intelligence in finance is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, especially in stochastic processes, time series analysis, and statistical modeling.
  • Experience with financial market data and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analyses in an understandable way.
  • Team-oriented, self-initiative, and a solution-driven working style.
  • Swiss or European Economic Area (EEA/EWR) passport.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and German.
