We are seeking a Client Lifecycle Specialist to join our team at LALIVE. As a key member of our cross-office team, you will provide support to our lawyers on all client lifecycle tasks, ensuring best practices in matter management. This includes conflicts of interest checks, analysis, and reports, as well as liaison with partners regarding 'Know Your Client' requirements and recording relevant information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conflicts of interest checks, analysis, and reports;
- Liaising with partners regarding 'Know Your Client' requirements and recording relevant information;
- Creating and following up on Letters of Engagement;
- Liaising with partners and the accounting team regarding retainers;
- Opening and closing all matter files;
- Preparing and finalizing all bills for prompt and accurate invoicing to clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need strong interpersonal and communication skills, be responsive and proactive, and have a proven ability to work in a team as well as autonomously. Commercial experience, preferably in a law firm setting, is essential, as is excellent analytical and redaction skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Office, are required, and legal billing/file management software experience would be an advantage.
