Job Summary:

The Straumann Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Digital Experience Services and Applications team. As the Global Head of Digital Experience Services and Applications, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes and solutions that enable the efficient and effective management of our Global Business Applications portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic roadmaps for Digital Experience Services and Applications in alignment with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Define, plan, and support Digital Experience Services and Applications efficiently.
  • Define, plan, develop, and deliver strategic projects and initiatives for digital services related to web applications and digital marketing, including budgeting and business investment strategies.
  • Ensure the reliable and secure operations of the Digital Experience Applications, including central IT web platforms, focusing on a multi-brand, cross-border, and multilingual frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on digital experience marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and Data& Tech goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the solution/architecture design and analysis of web applications as part of Digital Excellence & E-Business initiatives.
  • Engage in evaluation and decision processes for solutions, selecting marketing, infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Develop and manage a high-performance team with strong leadership skills and technology expertise, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and external partners to ensure timely and effective delivery and support of services and applications through efficient contractual management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the area of Digital Excellence & E-Business initiatives. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements accordingly.
  • Develop and manage the budget for global business applications, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field and/or related working experience.
  • Experience & personal attributes: 10+ years of experience with web technologies, enterprise applications and project management in a global environment and in managing digital experience and web application development teams.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team as well as effectively building strong and collaborative relationships to ensure seamless program and project delivery.
  • Hands on experience in the latest web technologies, cloud solutions, and software development practices.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and IT infrastructure oversight.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe's experience cloud products is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.
  • Capacity to face and adapt to challenges to overcome them (resilience), strong analytics skills and problem solving.
  • Fluent English spoken and written, other languages are an asset (DE)
