Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Trader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the flawless operation of daily client trading and representing the trading desk and the company to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trading Operations: Ensure the smooth execution of trades and maintain accurate records of client transactions.
  • Client Representation: Represent the trading desk and the company to clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Product Development: Develop expert knowledge of our trading platform and products, and contribute to their continuous improvement.
  • Trade Oversight: Oversee multiple trades and prioritize efforts to anticipate and respond to client needs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project management to support both run-the-bank and change-the-bank initiatives.
  • Market Research: Maintain an expert level of understanding of the crypto market landscape by researching the latest projects and developments.
  • Account Management: Oversee and execute operational and strategic tasks related to account and cash management.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments, including Compliance, Business Development, and Legal.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and restrictions.
Requirements
  • Education: Relevant university degree, such as Business Administration, Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Economics.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in trading at a financial institution, or strong personal trading experience.
  • Knowledge: Solid knowledge of delta one derivatives, with expertise in options being a strong advantage.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and a team player.
  • Personality: Highly proactive and outgoing personality.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in programming (e.g., Python, VBA, SQL) is highly preferred.
  • Software Skills: Solid MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and fast adaptation of new tools.
  • Market Knowledge: Advanced understanding of digital asset markets, and solid knowledge of cryptocurrency projects.
