We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Solutions Expert to join our team at Manulife Data Services Inc. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for providing level 2 analysis and troubleshooting support for a suite of business applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely updates for all critical issues, track who is working on the specific issue, root causes update and estimate time for issue resolution.
- Coordinate with different production support teams and Global, Regional, and local IT teams to resolve production issues.
- Fully understand the BAU support escalation procedures for all technical teams and business teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development lifecycle, agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any related course.
- Minimum 5 years working experience supporting enterprise-level and trading applications at Level 2 (support).
- Proven knowledge in languages such as Java Springboot, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular/React, GraphQL, Kafka/IBM MQ Messages and/or similar technologies.
Able to work on a fast-paced environment, handle high pressure situations and be able to multitask. A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement.
