International Customer Desk Associate

Job Profile

We are looking for a talented International Customer Desk Associate to join our team at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and providing an efficient interface to operations.

As part of our Road Division, you will work closely with internal departments, especially operations and the customs department, to ensure smooth shipment processes.

Your goal is to maximize customer satisfaction, optimize the customer experience, and build long-term customer relationships – before, during, and after transport.

Main Responsibilities
  • Proactively handle customer inquiries and provide solutions to their queries.
  • Acceptance, review, and initial entry of incoming customer orders as well as conducting customs clearance checks.
  • Closely cooperate with internal departments, especially operations and the customs department, to ensure smooth shipment processes.
  • Record, maintain, and update customer data in the internal TMS.
Skills and Qualifications
  • You have completed training or retraining as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification.
  • You bring extensive professional experience in freight forwarding.
  • You are very familiar with common MS Office applications.
  • Your German and English skills are business fluent, both spoken and written.
  • You work independently, responsibly, and in a structured manner.
