About the Role:

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Takeda's Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) business unit by collaborating closely with senior leadership to define and execute a forward-thinking business strategy for Takeda's product portfolio that aligns with Takeda's therapeutic area focus, Corporate Philosophy, and Corporate Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with colleagues in commercial units, GMS, and Global Quality to support Product Strategy and Lifecycle management for Takeda's products.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute a manufacturing and supply strategy aligned with Takeda's therapeutic focus and corporate strategy.
  • Lead supply network strategies, risk assessments, and mitigation efforts for product manufacturing and distribution, ensuring alignment with financial targets, lifecycle project budgets, and long-term product supply plans.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive global lifecycle plans for marketed products, updating regularly based on market and financial factors.
  • Lead and develop a Product Operations Team, focusing on decision-making, portfolio strategy, and cross-functional processes.

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in engineering, biological sciences, or pharmacy; additional MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with program/project management experience.
  • Experience in leading multicultural, cross-functional teams and complex program efforts.
  • Possessing a holistic understanding of the industry, from R&D to Process Development, Operations, Regulatory, Commercial.
  • Expertise in global supply chain planning, manufacturing, and regulatory operations; detailed understanding of Commercial operations.
  • Preferably knowledge/experience working with diverse pharmaceutical products from areas such as solid dosage, small molecules, API, plasma purification, cell and gene therapy, etc.
  • Willingness to travel, fluency in English, and advanced influencing skills are necessary for this role.
  • An intrinsic understanding of putting Patients first and unyielding drive to enhance their well-being.
