Job Description:

Sika, a leading specialty chemicals company, is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join its growing SAP Team in Zurich. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating global SAP projects, integrating acquired companies into Sika's SAP landscape, and ensuring smooth project progress in time and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate global SAP projects to rollout Sika's global template and integrate acquired companies into Sika's SAP landscape.
  • Enable a smooth project progress in time and quality with your project management experience.
  • Manage project teams consisting of multi-functional, globally dispersed, and virtual groups (internal and external).
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams with your deep functional and technical hands-on experience in SAP Supply Chain Management.
  • Oversee and proof project deliverables in SAP Supply Chain Management based on Sika's global template.
  • Ensure that all internal and external project members follow the defined governance rules and methodology.
  • Proactively research and introduce process, functional, and technology best-practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Science, or other technical qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience and expert knowledge in one or several DTS SAP modules: QMMM.
  • Experience and/or willingness to learn in extra modules such as Ariba.
  • 2-3+ meaningful experiences with Solution Architect roles in leading to successful SAP rollouts and integration projects in a global environment.
  • Deep hands-on customizing experience in SAP Supply Chain Management (overall and detailed knowledge in several process areas).
  • Proven functional expertise in end-to-end SAP SCM processes and integration into other process areas.
  • Strong and authentic leadership personality with coaching, mentoring, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver superior business outcomes.
  • Creative and innovative thinking to take responsibility in identifying improvement areas and innovations, owning them, and delivering success.
  • Readiness to travel up to 10-20%.
  • Fluent in English.
