Senior Solution Architect/Project Manager SAP EWM

At Sika, we're driving digitalization and seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Solution Architect/Project Manager SAP EWM to join our Global SAP team in Zurich. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly innovative environment that will collaborate with external partners to perform roll-outs in record time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the realization of challenging SAP roll-outs and projects as part of our Global SAP team and will play a significant role configuring and implementing EWM on S/4 HANA.
  • You will support all phases of the project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions, as well as documentation and end-user training.
  • You will customize and configure SAP EWM solutions in collaboration with process experts from the business team and implement these using defined methodologies.
  • You are responsible for business process analysis, review, and challenge gaps, translate the business needs to Sika's SAP global template solutions using best practices to improve processes, performance, and acceptance.
  • You will have duties in 2nd and 3rd level support, change and incident management, and act as a helping hand for key users for our current SAP EWM systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SAP experience in SAP EWM on S/4 HANA, with a minimum of 2 full-cycle end-to-end implementation and roll-out experience.
  • Experience in SAP EWM requirements gathering, preparation of functional specification documents, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration activities, and user training in SAP EWM implementation and rollouts.
  • Strong experience in architecting, designing, and configuring complex solutions for all SAP EWM scenarios, including outbound, inbound, internal warehouse operations, goods receipt with put-away, picking, packaging, put-away, transfer postings, physical inventory, bin-to-bin stock movements, cross-docking, replenishments, and cycle counts.
  • Integration with MM, SD, PP, and QM.
  • Very good knowledge of interfaces and intralogistics processes.
  • BASIC knowledge of ABAP and ABAP (reading/debugging) would be a plus.
  • Action-oriented and results-driven, with problem-solving skills, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer expectations and end-user needs, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Readiness to travel up to 30%.
  • Fluent in English, with German being a significant advantage.
