SAP EWM Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) professional to join our team at Next-Link. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing warehouse management solutions for our clients using SAP's EWM module.
Key Responsibilities- EWM Implementation & Configuration: Lead the full cycle of SAP EWM implementation projects from requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, and testing, through to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Warehouse Management Processes: Design and optimize warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, picking, packing, and inventory management within the SAP EWM system.
- System Integration: Ensure smooth integration between SAP EWM and other SAP modules like SAP MM, SAP SD, and SAP TM, as well as third-party systems, where applicable.
- Customization & Enhancement: Customize the SAP EWM solution as per client requirements, including setting up storage bins, put away and picking strategies, warehouse tasks, and activity profiles.
- Project Documentation & Training: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, conduct user training sessions, and provide ongoing system support post go-live.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide post-go-live support, including troubleshooting, system enhancement, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver efficient and effective EWM solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. SAP EWM certification is highly desirable.
- Experience: X years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM, including configuration, deployment, and post-go-live support. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and processes. Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP MM, SAP SD, and SAP TM. Previous experience with EWM in a S/4HANA environment is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment. Strong understanding of SAP EWM processes including RF framework, warehouse task creation, slotting, and resource management.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM. Familiarity with advanced warehouse management features like Yard Management, Labor Management, and Production Integration. Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall project methodologies. Experience with multinational supply chain environments.
