Senior SAP EWM Architect

Sika Gesellschaften in der Schweiz is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP EWM Architect to join our Global SAP team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the realization of challenging SAP roll-outs and projects, configuring and implementing EWM on S/4 HANA, and supporting all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement EWM on S/4 HANA, including decentralized and embedded EWM, migration from WM to stock room management, and LE and WM in compatibility mode.
  • Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions, as well as documentation and end-user training.
  • Customize and configure SAP EWM solutions in collaboration with process experts from the business team and implement these using defined methodologies.
  • Responsible for business process analysis, review, and challenge gaps, translating business needs to Sika's SAP global template solutions using best practices to improve processes, performance, and acceptance.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, change and incident management, and act as a helping hand for key users for our current SAP EWM systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SAP experience in SAP EWM on S/4HANA, with a minimum of 2 full cycle end-to-end implementation and roll-out experience.
  • Experience in SAP EWM requirements gathering, preparation of functional specification documents, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration activities, and user training in SAP EWM implementation and rollouts.
  • Strong experience in architecting, designing, and configuring complex solutions for all SAP EWM scenarios, including outbound, inbound, internal warehouse operations, goods receipt with put-away, picking, packaging, put-away, transfer postings, physical inventory, bin to bin stock movements, cross docking, replenishments, and cycle counts, wave planning, consolidation, slotting, and rearrangement, mobile data entry integration, label printing, and material flow systems.
  • Integration with MM, SD, PP, and QM.
  • Very good knowledge of interfaces and intralogistics processes.
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP/ABAP (reading/debugging) is a plus.
  • Action-oriented and drives for results, problem-solving skills, demonstrates deep understanding of customer expectations and end-user needs, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ready to travel up to 30%.
  • Fluent in English, German is a big advantage.
